Much Ado About Nothing, Act V, Scene I, example 8

Claudio is a young soldier, fighting under Don Pedro. He wants to marry Hero, the daughter of Leonato, who is also a nobleman. The mean Don John has made Claudio believe that Hero made love with Borachio. As Claudio believes this, he cancelles the wedding. Hero's family pretends that Hero has died as a consequence of this so that they have time to clear the situation. Leonato is very angry at Claudio and accuses him of being guilty for Hero's death.

Leonato: Marry, [A] dost wrong me; [B] dissembler, [C] . Nay, never lay [D] hand upon [E] sword; I fear [F] not.
Claudio: Marry, beshrew my hand, If it should give [G] age such cause of fear: In faith, my hand meant nothing to my sword.
Leonato: Tush, tush, man; never fleer and jest at me: I speak not like a dotard nor a fool, I say [H] hast belied mine innocent child.
Don Pedro: [I] say not right, old man.
Leonato: My lord, my lord, I'll prove it on his body, if he dare.
Claudio: Away! I will not have to do with [J].
Leonato: Canst [K] so daff me? [L] hast kill'd my child: If [M] kill'st me, boy, [N] shalt kill a man.
