Romeo and Juliet, Act III, Scene 1, example 15
Tybalt, who belongs to the house of Capulet provokes Romeo. Romeo is already (secretely) married to Julia and therefore wants to avoid a fight with Tybalt.
Tybalt: Romeo, the love I bear [A] can afford no better term than this: [B] art a villain.
Romeo: Tybalt, the reason that I have to love [C]doth much excuse the appertaining rage to such a greeting. Villain am I none. Therefore farewell. I see [D] knowest not me.
Tybalt: Boy, this shall not excuse the injuries that [E]hast done me; therefore turn and draw.
Romeo:I do protest I never injur'd thee, but love [F] better than [G]canst devise till [H]shalt know the reason of my love; And so good Capulet, which name I tender As dearly as mine own, be satisfied.
