Task 2: Reconstructing Neologisms
Despite the high number of entries Shakespeare contributed to the Early Modern English vocabulary, there are some Latinate neologisms (new words deriving from Latin, Greek and French) that did not prevail. “Outjest” (King Lear III. i. l.16) is one example.
